Perched — Terms of Service Effective date: July 5, 2026 Operator: Perched LLC, North Carolina, USA Contact: hello@perched.fm About Perched Perched is a music-ranking app. You sign in, mark songs you Love, Like, or Skip, rank your favorites head to head, and get a personal Top 10 and a shareable image. Perched does not host or stream music. Song, album, and artist names are shown for reference, and any playback links point to third-party services such as YouTube and Spotify, which have their own terms. Accounts You need an account to use Perched. You can sign in with a magic link sent to your email, or with Apple or Google where available. You are responsible for keeping access to your email or sign-in provider secure, and for activity under your account. You must provide an email address you control. You must be at least 13 years old to use Perched (or older if your country sets a higher minimum age for online accounts). Acceptable use Perched is for personal, non-commercial use. You agree not to misuse the service, including: trying to break, overload, or reverse-engineer it; scraping or bulk-extracting the catalog; using it to violate any law; or accessing it through automated means except standard web browsing. We may suspend or remove accounts that abuse the service. Your content Your rankings and selections are yours. By using Perched you give us permission to store and process them to provide the service (for example, to save your Top 10, build your shareable image, and show your album standings). The shareable images you generate are yours to post and share. Paid features Some artists or features may require a one-time unlock or other payment in the future. When paid features go live, the price, what you get, and any refund terms will be shown at the point of purchase, and those purchase terms become part of this agreement. Email With an account you may receive two kinds of email: service messages tied to your account and rankings, and new-release and product emails. You can unsubscribe from marketing email at any time using the link in those emails or by contacting us. See the Privacy Policy for detail. Availability and changes Perched is offered "as is" and "as available." We may change, pause, or discontinue features at any time, and we do not guarantee the service will always be available, error-free, or that your data will never be lost. Keep your own copy of anything you want to be sure to retain. Intellectual property The Perched name, logo, design, and software are owned by Perched LLC. Music metadata and any third-party marks belong to their respective owners. Nothing here grants you rights to those. Disclaimers and limitation of liability To the fullest extent allowed by law, Perched is provided without warranties of any kind, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of data, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the past 12 months or $50 USD. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limits, so parts may not apply to you. Termination You can stop using Perched and request deletion of your account at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these terms. Changes to these terms We may update these terms. If we make material changes we will update the effective date and, where appropriate, notify you. Continuing to use Perched after changes means you accept them. Governing law These terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
